Jane's Tomatoes and Bedding Plants

Now is the time to get your tomato plants (traditional and cherry) climbing French beans and courgettes (various) from Jane at Foxley (pink cottage at the bottom of the village), as well as geraniums, petunias, lobelia, nemesia, black eyed susan (climber), gazanias, cosmos, French marigolds, hollyhocks, tobacco plants and coleus.

All proceeds are for St Giles church.

Please contact Jane directly on 241367.

On Saturday and Sunday next weekend the plants will be on sale at the Plant Stall in St Giles porch.

Grass Verges

If you would prefer the village verge contractor not to cut your grass verge this year, please contact [email protected]

If you have let the Parish Council know in previous years that you will manage the verge outside your house and it was managed correctly last year, it is not necessary to contact the Parish Council.

Next Stonevale Concert at St Giles

Dear all

Please find the flyer of our next Stonevale Concert at St Giles. We are very lucky to host the prizewinners of the Musical Odyssey every year. This international course is held in Greece and this time, we will have Lithuanian soprano, Valerija Llijn and Romanian pianist Andra Bacila to perform a voice and piano recital for us. Email me to book seats, you are also of course welcome to just come on the day - although it is always good to reserve a seat, and helpful to know how many people to expect to make sure we have enough wine!

All you need to know about April’s extra garden waste collections

Residents who are subscribed to the district council brown bin garden waste service in South Oxfordshire or the Vale of White Horse can have extra garden waste collected for free, on their normal collection day only, between 15 and 26 April.

Maundy Thursday (28th) at 6pm - Holy Communion at All Saints, Coleshill

Good Friday (29th) at 2pm - A meditation on the Last Hour at St Giles, Great Coxwell

Easter Day (31st) 10.30am - Holy Communion at St Mary's, Buscot
